Ogbia is a community of farmers and fishermen in Nigeria’s Bayelsa state in the Central Delta region. Former Nigerian president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was born in Ogbia. It is also where the first commercial production of crude oil began at the Shell Oloibiri oil field. The primary dialects spoken in this region are Agholo (Kolo), Anyama, and Oloibiri. Your prayers and support will enrich the Ogbia people as they read and worship with God’s Word in their heart language for the first time.
