We help to build a healthy society  through promoting right Conduct not Condom.

With increasing sexual vices such as rape, homosexuality, HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases is spreading.

The UNAIDS report for 2018 shows that about 1.9 million people were living with HIV in Nigeria. The number of new HIV infections among the uninfected population over one year was 0.65%.The percentage of people living with HIV among adults (15–49 years) was 1.5%. 130 000 people were newly infected with HIV and 53 000 people died from an AIDS-related illness. The number of new HIV infections has risen from 120,000 to 130,000 from 2010 - 2018. This suggest that there is a relapse in the carefulness of the people. With the statistics above, the lives of Nigerians are still at risk of the HIV pandemic and other sexually transmitted diseases. We have a solution! With several agencies promoting the use of condoms and in-turn undermining the importance of abstinence and sexual purity, the Bible Society of Nigeria is out with a message tagged ‘CONDUCT NOT CONDOM’ the solution to have a HIV free and morally sound society. We have taken the message to some secondary schools in the south, East and western Nigeria. In 2019, we started the church and community campaign among the major tribes (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba) in Nigeria. Where We Help Nigerians in Schools and Churches- The Bible Society holds her campaign against HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases in secondary schools, higher institutions and churches across Nigeria. This campaign has yielded great results as people reached now have better understanding of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and are motivated to raise their moral standards.
