The Marathon Bible Reading is a week-long Bible
engagement initiative that aims to help people interact with the Word of God.
It is an inter-denominational programme that has been successfully held in over 150 churches pan Nigeria for the past 20
years, with many testimonies of spiritual growth and blessings, including the
salvation of souls and healing.
The programme seeks to stimulate
the culture of Bible reading among Christians and encourage them to enjoy
reading the Bible in their heart language for their spiritual growth. The
programme requires the
participation of a volunteer from each participating church to coordinate the
event daily from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
To execute the
MBR programme successfully, a total
budget of 1,781,100 is required.
